On June 25th, NBC premieres its riveting new reality show, The Baby Borrowers. Over six intense, heartwarming, and hilarious episodes we see teen couples who think they're ready to have children, care for real, live babies, then toddlers, then tweens, then teenagers and finally senior citizens. It's life in fast forward as they try to negotiate the challenges of parenting along with maintaining their relationships. Unlike other reality shows - no one gets voted off here, no one is competing for a prize - the drama is the journey itself and the rewards are lessons learned about adult life. Learn more about the show at http://www.nbc.com/The_Baby_Borrowers/.
The Campaign has been lucky to work with NBC around the launch of this show, and we've collaborated with them on discussion guides for parents and teens who watch together and want to talk about it. Please take the time to check out The Baby Borrowers on June 25th at 8PM ET/PT. And let us know what you think about it!
Spoiler alert: There wasn't a dry eye in the house when we watched the final episode.

This looks like a great show. Its nice to see something positive on television. The cool thing about the show is that every three days the teens will take care of older and older children.
this looks like a really good show. very controversial i guess. raises a lot of questions for society. is it the job of tv to tell teens to abstain from sex or at least make sure it's safe? and what do parents really think about this? also, if thye are pregnant is it the aim of the show to get them to put the kid up for adoption or what? i'm gonna watch but i think i have a lot of questions for nbc.
I wouldn't put my kid on there, but I think it looks pretty entertaining. I think they got the most clueless teenagers in america, but maybe they are all clueless.
Damn straight this show is birth control, thanks to NBC for putting it out there. Babies are cute on diaper commercials on tv, but the reality is far less adorable. I'm not concerned about the kids at all, it's a network show after all, I just think it's good entertainment with an important message.
This show seems gross to me. Who would put their kids on this show? The teenagers look like total selfish idiots... but maybe that is the typical teenager.
There are two organizations that focus on children ages birth to 36 months. Both organizations do not support Baby Borrowers because it goes against their years of work.

I understand that this website is the expert on teen parenting, but the websites I have posted are the experts on Infant and Toddlers. Please support ZerotoThree and PITC and see why they do not support Baby Borrowers.
