I'm REALLY sorry I clicked on that "wearing a sock" link. Yikes.
Thanks for posting this short piece of "Flea" explaining the standard days method using cycle beads. In Haiti, there are often no other alternatives available so this plus knowing your fertility cycle have effectively prevented unwanted pregnancies. Just to clarify - Rhythm method is an ealy precurser to the SDM cycle bead one which is 98% effective if used correctly- that is, the partner has to agree to not have sex during the most fertile times (and the woman has to have a regular menstrual cycle)... Georgetown University has worked very hard to update SDM for thousands of women who have few other options or side effects from other methods. Look at the www.IRH.org web site for more information.
By the way, Flea was a cool dude. The entire trip will be on TV again on CW station. Please look at the www.4real.com website for times in December.
